Nurse Manager Ambulatory, Orthopedic Surgery Clinic, UK HealthCare, Lexington, KY

Keegan Chase, MSN, RN, MEDSURG-BC, AMB-BC, serves as the Nurse Manager for the Orthopaedic Clinic at the Kentucky Clinic, a role she has held for the past five years. She began her leadership journey as an Assistant Nurse Manager at Good Samaritan Hospital and previously worked as a staff nurse in the ICU. Keegan earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Kentucky, where she also completed her Master of Science in Nursing in 2022. She is nationally board-certified in both Medical-Surgical Nursing (MEDSURG-BC) and Ambulatory Care Nursing (AMB-BC). A member of the Kentucky Nurses Association (KNA) since 2017, she has been actively engaged in professional advocacy, and recently elected as the Governmental Affairs Cabinet Member At Large for the KNA. Passionate about cultivating a supportive and collaborative workplace, Keegan is dedicated to enhancing employee engagement and professional growth. She has led multiple initiatives designed to strengthen staff morale, development, and job satisfaction, with the goal of ensuring both an exceptional patient experience and the well-being of her team.
